Territory Appeal Process for Group Projects
If one team member attends a school outside of the TNJSF territory, then you must submit a Territory Appeal
in order to be considered for participation in the TNJSF. The steps to complete the Territory Appeal process
are as follows:
-
Establish a student account on the TNJSF website, if you are new
to the fair.
-
Register your project on the TNJSF site. Note that it should be registered as a team project, with
the team leader a student in the TNJSF territory. You may need administrative assistance to have
the other school, outside our territory, added to our list of schools.
- You must submit at least the TNJSF Research Plan Form, Form 1A,
and the TNJSF Territory Appeal Form, and then request a review by email to tnjsf@terraed.org.
Upon receipt of all materials, the TNJSF Organizing Committee will make a decision as to whether
your project will be allowed to participate.
The TNJSF will communicate with the alternative ISEF-affiliated fair and obtain a waiver, as needed.
Note that if you participate in the TNJSF you must not submit a project (individual or team)
to any other ISEF-affiliated fair.
Note for Mac users: the default PDF Viewer in Safari does not save forms properly and must not be used.
