Directions and Maps for NJRSF-2016
The NJRSF for 2016 will be held in the College Avenue Gym (CAG) on the
Rutgers-New Brunswick campus. The symposium and awards ceremony
will be held in the Multipurpose Room of the Rutgers Student Center,
which is right next door.
Here are the
best directions to the CAG that we've found.
Maps
- Overview
showing the relationship to I-287.
Note the rather confusing fact that at this point, when you
are traveling "South" on I-287, you are actually traveling
roughly east (to the right on the map).
- Detail
showing the detailed local roads. Note that the parking
lot you should use is #30, which you enter from Sicard St.
at the point where Ray Street intersects. The parking lot and
the gym lie between Sicard and College Ave.
- Campus Map
This map shows the local vicinity of the Gym, with a number of
the other Rutgers buildings marked. This is from the Rutgers
website.
- Campus Overview This map
has been sent to us by the Rutgers organizers, showing an
overview of the College Avenue Campus, with the two main
routes to the parking lot marked in red.
This map helps put the others in perspective, so I recommend
you make a copy of it as well.
Note, please, that the driving instructions accompanying this
map are DIFFERENT from the ones linked above. These instructions
take you on the more confusing route (in our opinion) down River Road and
Rt. 18, rather than just the straight shot down 527 and Ray St. Use
either one you like, but don't get them confused!
